Trauma Recovery

Healing from Difficult Experiences

Trauma-informed therapy provides a safe space to process difficult experiences and their ongoing impact. Using both Jungian and contemporary trauma approaches, we work gently to restore your sense of safety, power, and connection while honouring your resilience.

Understanding Trauma and Its Impact

Trauma occurs when we experience events that overwhelm our ability to cope, leaving lasting impacts on our nervous system, relationships, and sense of self. Trauma can result from single incidents or ongoing experiences, and its effects can persist long after the original events have ended.

Trauma-informed therapy recognizes that healing happens in relationship and requires a foundation of safety, choice, and empowerment. Rather than simply talking about trauma, we work to restore your nervous system's natural capacity for regulation and resilience.

My approach integrates depth psychology with contemporary trauma research, recognizing that the psyche has profound wisdom about healing. We honour both the wounded and wise aspects of your experience, working toward integration and post-traumatic growth.
