About Sharn

A Journey Through Depth Psychology

Over three decades of dedicated practice in Jungian analysis and psychodynamic therapy, supporting individuals and families through life's most challenging and transformative moments.

Sharn - Jungian Analyst and Psychotherapist

I am a Jungian analyst and psychotherapist with over thirty years of clinical experience. Now based in the peaceful surrounds of Geelong, Victoria, my work is grounded in a deep appreciation for the unconscious mind and its profound capacity for healing and transformation.

My journey into psychology began with a fascination for the human psyche's deeper layers—those symbolic, archetypal realms that Carl Jung so eloquently mapped. This led me to pursue advanced training in Jungian and post-Jungian approaches, complemented by extensive study in trauma-informed practice and psychodynamic counselling.

Throughout my career, I have been particularly drawn to working with individuals who have experienced trauma, whether through childhood experiences, relationship difficulties, or life transitions. My approach combines the depth and wisdom of Jungian analysis with contemporary trauma research, creating a therapeutic space that honours both the wounded and wise aspects of each person.

I believe deeply in the therapeutic relationship as a container for transformation. In our work together, I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your inner world, understand recurring patterns, and discover new possibilities for growth and healing.
